Chestnut Leather Bag

Another gladstone from my personal collection. Beautiful and versatile in a warm chestnut brown.

Maker – Unknown
Era – 1930s / 1940s
Fabric Content – Leather outer, lined in cotton
Closure – Metal clasp with leather clasp that sits on top of the metal frame
Condition – Some staining at inner and outer bag. Outer staining can probably be cleaned. Clasp does not slide all the way into place. Stitching has come undone on the clasp’s leather flap.
